Real wedding - Kayla and Stephen - Bluebird Invitations

We absolutely adored creating stationery for this beautiful wedding at Maleny Manor for Kayla and Stephen earlier this year.

The Wedding Invitations

The invitations were a beautiful deep red wine colour and were slid into a Navy mini pocket. Mini pockets are a great way to keep your invitation cards together. The invitation suite was printed on a beautiful linen card stock – still our most popular card stock. The invitation suite also included a details card with further details and RSVP information. While RSVP postal cards are still popular we are noticing more and more couples opting for their guests to RSVP via email or phone. This does make it much easier for guests to quickly let couples know their response (especially if they are overseas). A very popular inclusion to invitation suites now is a map of the area card. We usually print this on the back of the invitation itself. The map is of course not to scale but does give your guests a general idea of how far the venue is from the closest air port and closest major city.

Acrylic Guest Place Cards

These little beauties worked a treat on the dark plates at Kayla and Stephen’s wedding reception. Place cards were made of 3mm clear acrylic with gold vinyl cut lettering, these are such a great idea as they double as guest favours. They can also be done as drink coasters. Kayla and Stephen opted for clear acrylic place cards however the sky is the limit with regards to colours that acrylic comes in! Our favourite being mirror gold and rose gold + frosted. The acrylic can be cut into various shapes and sizes too!
